Hello everyone,
To get ready for our daughter’s birth & baby-proof the house as well as make room we are looking to sell a nice, glass two-level coffee table and a comfy queen bed (memory foam mattress + box spring).
Looking for $50 for the coffee table and $100 for the bed or $125 for both!
In the link I have photos of the coffee table and a screenshot of the type of bed. I will add actual photos of the bed in a bit.
The bed was in our guest bedroom that we are turning into a baby room so we just don’t have room for it. It’s barely used, clean and very comfortable!I had a bike crash around 2:30 PM Sunday, November 20th in the left turn lane at the north end of Lincoln Park heading toward Beach Drive. My head hit the ground and my helmet cracked. In the process I think I may have lost my magnetic helmet headlight. When I got home it was nowhere to be found. I went back and searched the intersection of Fauntleroy/47th/Webster but did not find it. If someone witnessed the accident and found the headlight I would love to get it back. I would also like to know what happened, was I on the ground for very long, as I lost some of my memory from the concussion. The headlight looks like this.
A Big Rave for those motorists and others who stopped to help me when I had a bike crash around 2:30 PM Sunday, November 20th in the left turn lane at the north end of Lincoln Park. I was returning from Westwood to my home in Alki, ironically after spending the day posting memorial silhouettes for traffic collision victims on World Remembrance Day. I could easily have been run over, but all the cars stopped and looked out for me until I could clear the roadway. Topic: Pre K Sports Instructor
ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Pre K Sports Instructor to share his or her talents with the community.
This position primarily entails teaching sports (basics of basketball, soccer, t-ball, track plus build coordination and self-esteem) to children aged 2-3 who are accompanied in the class with their parent or guardian. The instructor will also need good communication skills and work in collaboration with other instructors and community center staff. In addition, the instructor will assist in marketing the class and be able to work with advanced planning/scheduling of classes (6 months or more ahead of time).

Topic: Lego Engineering Instructor

Instructor is responsible for designing and delivering enrichment classes using Legos to teach basic engineering principals. Topic: Junior Crew Coach
Green Lake Junior Crew is recruiting for dynamic and engaging Boys and Girls Junior Crew Coaches for the Fall 2016 through Spring 2017 season. With over 60 years of history in the rowing community, Green Lake is one of the premier crews locally, regionally, and nationally.
Junior Crew Coaches work with 8th through 12th grades from local public and private schools. Practice times are after school starting at 3:45pm for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, Monday through Friday. Fall season is 9 weeks starting the first week of September through early November. Spring Season is 15 weeks starting in early February, running until mid-May. On land conditioning runs November through January. Local and Regional Regattas are attended throughout Fall and Spring on weekends..
Candidates must be able to commit to a full academic season (September through May).

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for athletic and highly motivated Gymnastics/Tumbling Instructor to teach gymnastics classes for children ages 5-12 years old for After School enrichment classes at our programs in Northeast Seattle. Our programs provide safe, engaging and educational after school opportunities to elementary age youth.
This is an introductory tumbling and rhythmic gymnastics class for ages 5-12. General responsibilities include teaching in a nurturing environment, set-up and take down of equipment, and providing excellent customer service. Instructors must be highly motivated, dedicated, and reliable.

The Development Director will bring their experience developing fundraising strategy, donor relationships, special events and grants to support a growing organization, while advancing our mission and vision.
This is a key leadership role, reporting to the Executive Director, participating as a member of the senior management team, and supervising one direct report. This role functions as strategist and implementer, working in partnership with the organization to create and drive development strategy in support of ARC’s mission and culture.
Key Position Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement a strategy to identify and secure corporate, foundation, individual and government partnerships.
•Design, develop, and implement the fund development plans in accordance with ethical fundraising principles
•Monitor and evaluate all fundraising activities to ensure that the fundraising goals are being achieved
•Monitor trends in the community or region and adapt fundraising strategies as necessary.
•Collaborate and consult with ARC staff, Advisory Council Members, and Seattle Parks and Recreation staff to provide fundraising support, counsel and assistance in fundraising initiatives.
•Oversee grant writing initiatives and ensure ARC meets all deadlines for corporate and foundation grant proposals and reports.
•Contribute to development of collateral material to promote the agency’s fundraising goals and activities, including social media and website and successfully market ARC to viable partners and donors.You will feel prepared to take on this role if you have experience in:
•Developing policies and procedures for the development department
•Preparing reports on progress of fund development activities
•Fostering an understanding of philanthropy within an organization
•Building relationships with community stakeholders to advance the fundraising goals of an organizationQualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
•Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible development experience in a nonprofit or government organization.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in cultivating donor relationships, raising funds, securing and managing grants, and planning and managing special events.
•Demonstrate strong relationship building skills and ability to interact successfully with potential donors and community partners.

Instructor will program and deliver 1 hour crafting program at two elementary school locations in north Seattle followed by a “second session†with more freeform programing including gym games and homework help.
