Green Lake Junior Crew is recruiting for dynamic and engaging Boys and Girls Junior Crew Coaches for the Fall 2016 through Spring 2017 season. With over 60 years of history in the rowing community, Green Lake is one of the premier crews locally, regionally, and nationally.

Junior Crew Coaches work with 8th through 12th grades from local public and private schools. Practice times are after school starting at 3:45pm for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, Monday through Friday. Fall season is 9 weeks starting the first week of September through early November. Spring Season is 15 weeks starting in early February, running until mid-May. On land conditioning runs November through January. Local and Regional Regattas are attended throughout Fall and Spring on weekends..

Candidates must be able to commit to a full academic season (September through May).

Location: Green Lake Small Craft Center

Schedule: Monday – Friday afternoons and weekend competitions

Start Date: Early September 2016

End Date: On-going; to be determined

Pay Range: $14 – $18 hourly DOE

Requirements:
•Over 18 years of age
•Competitive rowing experience at the Junior or Collegiate level
•Experience working with middle and high school age youth
•Previous coaching experience preferred
•US Rowing Level 1 recommended
•Must have valid WA state driver’s license and successfully clear a driving history/record check upon hire
•Must pass criminal background check
•Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID
•Must sign up for direct deposit with either checking or savings account or Payroll Paycard
