ARCjobsParticipantARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Cooking Instructor for our Enrichment Program at Hazel Wolf Elementary School to share his or her talents with the community.
This instructor will be responsible for teaching a cooking class to students ages 5-11, focusing on basic skills, techniques, and recipes. Additionally, the instructor must have the ability to engage children and manage a classroom of students working with food. Creativity, patience, and a love for teaching is a must! The instructor will also need good communication skills and work in collaboration with other instructors and community center staff.
Location: Hazel Wolf Elementary School (Northgate Community Center)
Schedule: Wednesday, 3:30-4:30 pm
Start date: Wednesday, January 18, 2017
End date: Wednesday, April 5, 2017
Pay range: $18-$20 DOE
Requirements:
•Over 18 years of age
•Experience teaching cooking to youth is preferred
•Must pass criminal background check
•Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid photo ID
