    ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is looking for a Lego Engineering Instructor to share their talents with the community. Instructor is responsible for designing and delivering enrichment classes using Legos to teach basic engineering principals. Instructor is also responsible for planning and delivering “second session” programming which ranges from gym games to homework help. They will be expected to be creative and flexible. Ideal candidate demonstrates both maturity and fun in programming and can efficiently plan a program which provides unique opportunities for learning. A potential candidate would be a current engineering student with a background in summer camp programming.

    Location: Meadowbrook Community Center and surrounding schools

    Schedule: Mondays 2:00-5:00pm (John Rogers), Tuesdays 2:00-5:00pm (Sacajawea), Thursdays 2:00-3:30pm (Olympic Hills)

    Start date: Monday, September 19, 2016

    End date: Friday, December 16, 2016

    Pay range: $18-$22 per hour

    Requirements:
    •Over 18 years of age
    •Ability to work well and communicate with young children and their parents
    •Ability to plan age appropriate engaging activities
    •Must pass criminal background check
    •Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid photo ID
    •Must sign up for direct deposit with either checking or savings account or Payroll Paycard
