Cute! Cute! Cute! Fabulous adults cats! Adorable teens! Rambunctious kittens. And our personal favorite–the black cats–they are so gorgeous and loving.
There are 60+ Adult cats, teenagers (6+ months), and kittens (8 weeks to 6 months), waiting to meet ‘n’ greet you. And just so you know, kittens under 6 months old must be adopted in pairs unless there is already another cat friendly cat in the household.
Our adult cats are amazing and have been getting adopted left ‘n ‘right, allowing Kitty Harbor to continue to accept more adults. Get here. Meet them. You won’t leave without one or two! Remember adult cats are yesterday’s kitten; they are a lot less work; and they just ‘know’ you have given them a second chance for their very own permanent home.
Who are we? Kitty Harbor is a non-profit, volunteer-only, rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption facility for homeless and abandoned cats and kittens. One third of our cats and kittens are transferred in from Western Washington shelters when their time has run out; another one third are from cat rescue groups located in Eastern Washington where the cat/kitten kill rate is anywhere from 70% to 90%; and one third are from Kitty Harbor’s own rescue work here in West Seattle.
We will be open every Saturday and Sunday, from noon – 6 pm, through December 22nd. Get yourself to Kitty Harbor. Adopt a cat and save nine lives! Adopt two cats and save 18 lives!

Academics is a vital part of life but it is a PART not the whole. We believe that everything we do lays a ground work for all that is ahead including reading, making friends, making mistakes, learning how to follow directions, listening to a teacher, being creative and knowing how to get along with people different from yourself, sharing and listening to each other, writing and using tools of investigation to find more questions! It’s all PRE-school work. Academics for children so young must never be allowed to dictate Early Childhood. Early Childhood is the time for being a child and learning deep and important lessons about LIFE, staying connected to the intrinsic desire to learn, not just facts and data. But those things are important too-so it’s a carefully crafted balance.
There is a ‘right’ school for every family. If you see your values as a family reflected at CSWS then that makes it the ‘right’ school for you. If not, that’s OK, you will find one that does, there are so many good options in West Seattle.

I found my current place via PadMapper (https://www.padmapper.com/). You can really nail down the search criteria, including where to pull data from (Craigslist, PadLister, Apartments.com, etc).

My wife and I have been harvesting tomatoes for a few weeks now. Not sure of the varieties she planted (some heirlooms), but she set everything up so that we would get them consistently for a few months at least, and not all at once like last year. Most (~75%) of the stuff she planted is from seeds. And they’ve been delicious!
I’m just the grunt who sources (free) material and builds the structures for everything, so don’t ask me about gardening methods. ;) I just know that we save money by not having to buy a lot of vegies from the grocery store, and they are super yummy! :)

Consider posting in the Fitbit community forum as well! Those suckers are not cheap and it really really sucks to lose it. Each fitbit has a specific code to link to an account for sync purposes so you could also contact the fitbit support staff, they may be able to locate the owner! Their support is fabulous, mine started working erratically a few weeks back after a very sweaty bike ride and they replaced the entire unit! https://help.fitbit.com/customer/portal/emails/new
