happy hourParticipantThank JoB. The thread disappeared and then appeared again. You were on it. I just checked in with follow up. They got water late last night!!!! Should last 1/2 -1 week. I wrote down location
I wast posting follow up info at other thread and ‘someone’ removed the entire thread. I guess compassion wasn’t their thing. Sorry if I messed up at all . I am very ill and sleep a lot, I barely got home and crashed for the night. Thanks for all the support I saw!!!!

Sometimes I notice I reply to something and it doesn’t show up on the index page, but if I go to the thread, my reply is there. It happens randomly and I have no idea why. I think the forums are just a little buggy at the moment. You may not be able to see the thread you started, but the rest of us can.

KevinParticipant@elikapeka – I had a similar situation happen to me a few months ago. If I logged INTO the forums, I could not see my post, but just browsing while NOT logging in, I could see the post. Perhaps it was the other way around… I can’t remember now :) But it was a cause for concern :)

WSBKeymasterThanks, DM, that bug still exists so far as I know and is not fixable, though I haven’t asked our current technical crew to look at it and if they can dig through the more pressing issues, we’ll ask.
Again, no post regarding water at Nickelsville was removed, amended, moved, temporarily trashed, whatever. There is nothing rulebreaking about posting a request for help. Someone about a week ago in fact e-mailed me to say there was a need for water there and I pointed them here to the forum – I have no idea if that’s the same person who posted this. – TR

If the OP here is not clear on it, also, there are only two people with “administrator”-level access/capability – Patrick (Sand, WSB co-publisher), who commented earlier in the thread, and me (Tracy Record, WSB editor/co-publisher). No one else has delete capability or any other level of access beyond the same level all members have.
Generally the person who jumps in is me, except for first thing in the morning, since Patrick keeps early watch and if there is for example a note about overnight spam, he gets to that before I ever open my sleepy awake-till-3-am (or later) eyes.

She answered her own question but then a sentence or 2 later: “I wast posting follow up info at other thread and ‘someone’ removed the entire thread.” Again, nope, none of her NV/water threads were removed by ‘someone”.
It’s ridiculous people are so accusatory on here (especially if there is a comment or two of disagreement about their OP) — way too quick to get their panties in a wad and assume because of it “compassion wasn’t their thing”

JanSParticipantyour post #16, jissy…we all need to take that to heart…we are all sometimes too eager to jump on someone and be accusatory…even you…you jumped on HH in more than one thread…(and, yes, that was me proving my point – lol…I just sort of jumped on you…sigh)
