I brought these dogs to Seattle this week to find them good loving homes. They had rough beginnings in the Bay Islands of Honduras and deserve a chance for a good life. Campeón is a medium large (60 pound) mixed hound, neutered male dog approx. two years old. He’s smart, super affectionate, and playful. He’s a talker.. likes to comment hound style. Very elegant–should be a model for Orvis! Loves to be with people and other dogs. Flaquito is a 45 pound neutered male, hound mix, one year old, super sweet, very playful. He was msitreated as a youngster, so really would love to be loved! Annie is a 16 month old spayed female,35 pounds, looks like a beagle. exuberant personality..loves everyone with two and four legs. lots of play energy.

Well, glad to hear it wasn’t a scam in the sense that I feared, but disappointing that they won’t honor that price. Although I don’t recall any special prices being involved, I’ve had a couple incidents over the years; one where they indicated something had been delivered, and another where after a certain point there was no progress in the delivery process and the estimated delivery came and went, where Amazon made it extremely easy on my end to resolve the situations.

I think one of the scams I’ve been hearing about lately on the news is fake notifications of Amazon deliveries. They always urge that people double-check any links provided to make sure they read “amazon.com”, and not something like “[something].amazon.com”, or “amazon.[something].com

And have spent the last few days watching t**** backing Roy Moore,shaking my head, because they need a Repub senator to vote party lines. Even the gov of AL saying that yes , she (SHE!) believes he’s guilty of pedophilia, and will still vote for him. But they will bend over backwards to rid themselves of Al Franken. Mind you, I am sorely disappointed in Mr. Franken, but me thinks they doth protest too much. We now have a government that has no respect for the free press, separation of powers, church & state, and the will of the people by way of the laws passed by a previous administration. We now have a government that, instead of a pendulum of a grandfather’s clock, it swings wildly like a lasso at a rodeo. We have a government that does not believe in the continuity of governance but of constant, relentless chaos. It has and will take a toll on the populace of this country.

We now have a reckless government and the standing of the United States of America has not slipped but has free fallen among counties. Brand USA is quickly becoming irrelevant because one of the biggest markets in the world will fade. We are in an unprecedented, dangerous time.

Even encased in plastic bags, they can be quite smelly and gross. I’ve seen some people tie the poop bags around the dog’s collar, and I doubt the dog minds. I love dogs, but, let’s face it, their doody doesn’t smell like flowers.

What used to be rare is becoming common. Travelling westbound on the WS Bridge, a fast moving BMW 7 series flies up at about 90 mph, weaving through traffic but eventually has to slow because traffic is heavy. His license plate is impossible to read because it has a tinted cover over it. I thought these covers were a citeable offense but I’m finding them everywhere now. Some are worse than others. This one was impenetrable to light.

Oh no! The Danny Munoz I know and I know his customers has NEVER charged up front, that is completely false. The comments of dissatisfation on his work are also quite vague. Danny is the type that if you arent happy he will get the job done until you are. Communication is key here as Danny has been a lifetime West Seattle resident and has dozens and dozens of longterm happy customers, customers who communication with him about the work and have a mutual understanding of what is to be done. I am also witness to Danny being reliable. He always answers his phone and returns calls promptly. He works folks into his schedule as they come up and he always follows through. Im sorry for the unhappy service you feel you received, perhaps there was a misunderstanding. Danny always wants to make things right. It surprises me he wasnt given the opportunity to provide the top service he gives all his customers.

I wasn’t sure where to post this, but I wanted to share my feelings, my rage and disgust, with what’s going on in this once-great nation. How do you, my West Seattle neighbors, feel? What are you doing about all this?

1. The House passes the tRump Tax Scam, a cruel, illogical plan that will NOT benefit the middle class, only the very rich.
Increases the deficit by almost $2 TRILLION.
Immediately cuts Medicare by $25 billion.
Sets up future trillion dollar cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security to pay for the tax cuts and fix the deficit.
Ends the medical expense deduction – hurting at least 4.5 million people with incomes less than $75,000.
Increases taxes for 47% of families with children.
2. The massive Keystone oil leak. I hate to say “told ya so!” because this is truly a disaster that could have been prevented if the government had put people (and the environment) over pollution and profiteers.
3. Trump lifts ban on “trophy” elephant imports. Remember his darling sons murdered endangered species in Africa? How “manly”! Well, I guess Trump likes trophies; after all, he has a trophy wife (who is getting near her sell-by date by trump’s standards and who, sadly, has the dead eyes of a blow-up doll).
Yes, I have made calls, signed petitions, and sent emails. We all have to keep up the pressure. I am proud to have Jayapal, Murray, and Cantwell represent me, but we can’t just sit back and let them do the heavy lifting.

I just wanted to stick up for a person that I met through the blog and who has never given me ANY reason to doubt his sincerity or motives. A previous post had mentioned MIWS’ wit and I thought that perhaps the inability for posts to portray sarcasm or subtlety was an explanation for why he could be perceived as “high and mighty.” And, you are absolutely right! If my young kid runs into traffic I am undoubtedly going to pull her to safety, give her a scolding and then give her a big hug to let her know how important she is to me and how much I love her and want her to be safe. I don’t quite equate a comment on a thread about leaves to scolding then praising a child but you are certainly welcome to do so. This is probably one of those times I should have typed this out and just deleted it (I do that a lot) but I’m going to hit “Submit” instead. . . . .
