Gunshots?

Last night when I took my dogs out around 1am to go potty I heard what sounded like a gunshot in the distance. Then around 2:15 a MUCH louder one MUCH closer. It woke me right up! I am in Westwood a few blocks north of the Village. Any one else hear anything?

late friday night (sat morning) about 2:40 AM we heard what sounded like really loud gunshots (i think 3) that woke us up. we looked outside but couldn’t see anything. we live in highland park near 11th & henderson. maybe someone was driving around taking shots?
