metrognomeParticipantDon’t worry Twelvies, I’m not talking sports here; I’m talking ’bout Glenn ‘The Blaze’ Beck’s list of 15 cities to avoid like the plague!!! (interesting choice of biblical phrasing there …)
Unfortunately, we were out-unreligified by The Rose City at No. 1 and Baghdad by the Bay at No. 2. Having spent time in all three cities, I can say with confidence that we are in good company.
Please feel free to celebrate in your own way; checking on your earthquake preparedness kit might be appropriate. With all the fracking going on in Texas, maybe we should send Glenn the expired rations as a thank you present.
p.s. Hey Lambchop! Hope you’re having a good summer!

wakefloodParticipantHis next gig will be as a political writer for the Onion. And he won’t have to change a thing.

skeeterParticipantI chuckle a bit because I see the irony. Look at the “progressive” attitudes and policies of cities likes Seattle, SF, Portland. Then look at the “conservative/pro-family” attitudes and policies of cities in the bible belt. Now compare these two with Catholic social teaching. Which lines up better?
When/if God comes with His wrath on that final judgment day, maybe Seattle is where you *want* to be.
