Let’s see, “born in raised in Seattle” and being prior military. I have lived in Las Vegas and D.C. I have traveled extensively on the east coast and in California. Seattle drivers are not much different than New Yorkers or Californians. So I’d be careful labeling Seattle drivers as being horrible. D.C hands down is the worst area I have ever driven in. No one uses a turn signal in Maryland. In Oakland, California, I watched several people change six lanes at a time. In Vegas, everyone is drunk and using their cell phone while driving. In Philly and New York, they honk just to hear themselves honk. At least that is the way it seems to me. In Virginia, holy cow, you think Washington is bad for left lane slow-pokes? Try Viginia where you routinely find someone driving 10 miles below the speed limit in the far left lane. Yes, people in Seattle are horrible at merging. Timid, I don’t know. As for rude drivers, yeah, that is everywhere, not just Seattle. But unless you have the drivers birth certificate, lets keep it real, America has bad drivers and we’re all a little rude.
