Does anyone know when they will fix the hole at 1st and Columbia?  They have been working on it for almost a month.  And it just seems to get worse and worse.  Traffic is a nightmare down there for the afternoon commute.  Thanks!

Amen workdowntown – of all the places they could work 24/7 to get it done, rather than during commute time!  :-)

I was trying to find some info on City websites and no luck!  WSB, can you find out what is going on there (1st and Columbia) and how long it is suppose to last.  Looks like they are drilling for oil.

    Likely Seattle Steam/Enwave, not oil…

If this was in WS, I’d go over and look, but to be honest – anybody who works in the area is more likely to be able to find out by reading a sign or asking a crew member. I have a long stacked-up list of queries for SDOT and they have a new policy regarding how media inquiries have to be vetted … took five days to get the most recent responses I requested for something, so I am trying to be selective until things inevitably loosen up. Sorry!

Sorry, comment time is over.
