trickycooljParticipantI’m studying for a professional certification exam coming up in less than 2 weeks. I’m hitting that final crunch time to get through the last of my study books and take 4-hour practice exams. It’s an expensive exam that if I pass I’ll get reimbursed, if I don’t I get 4 retake attempts at $150 a pop. NO PRESSURE. Eeek. Anyone have any suggestions for some places to drag my thick boring business books to focus that’s not my house or in my office at work? I used to love studying in the Suzzalo Reading Room when I was at UW but I’m not driving across town to read. I’m ok with a quieter coffee shop, I’d buy coffee and not be a jerk hogging space when they’re busy. (Heck I once aced a European Studies class studying at the College Inn Pub over pints.) I tried Greenlake once on a nice day, too much people watching! So I probably need a desk/table to be effective I’m taking lots of notes as I go.
Also this is procrastinating isn’t it? Anyway maybe the fine folks of West Seattle might have some ideas without having to go to my old UW haunts. :)
Edit to add: if anyone has recently taken the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam, I’d love any advice you might have.

JeannieParticipantThe library’s High Point branch has a study room, but best to call them to see if you have to reserve it. Wish we had more of these.
