I saw 4 ospreys this morning on my bike commute to Kent. They migrate back to Seattle in April from their wintering grounds south of the border. I pass at least 8 nesting boxes or cell towers ospreys call home along the Duwamish/Green River trail. Keep your eyes to the sky when near the water. It’s awesome to see an osprey hover, stoop and dive into the water for fish!
I also saw a beaver swimming in the Duwamish River. Too cool.
