Full-Time Maintenance Tech needed in North Seattle

We are currently searching for a friendly, energetic Full-time Maintenance Technician for our 100 + unit apartment communities located in Lake City and the University District of Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities:

Commute between properties on a daily basis
On-call participation two weeks out of the month is required
Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
Estimate time and extent of repairs
Schedule make-ready units
Perform routine preventive maintenance
Maintain material and supply inventory
Schedule and oversees outside contractor/vendor performing tasks on property or in building
Represents the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property
Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner
Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules
Assists other maintenance workers as needed with other projects

​Qualifications:

 Must have 1 year of maintenance experience
Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Deadline and detail-oriented
Reliable Transportation
Willingness to perform all required tasks
Demonstrated knowledge of work safety habits
Ability to professionally represent the company
Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to interact effectively with staff and residents
Ability to work individually and with a team
Ability to work outside in different elements
