Is there any place around W.S. to dispose of paint, flooring adhesive and misc household chemicals?
The South park transfer station is where you can take Hazardous waste for free
If you have cans of paint or adhesive that are full or almost full and in good shape, you might be able to donate them to the Habitat for Humanity store, at 21 S. Nevada St. Also a great place to shop for home supply bargains!
Oh yeah… we’ve bought there before. Some are full, some are not.
Here, and free!
In or adjacent to Georgetown
If your paint is water-based, it can be placed in regular trash once you either air dry the remnants of the can or fill the can with kitty litter so the contents are absorbed.
For advice on specific items, refer to the “What do I do with?” section of the King County Solid Waste Department here:
Hope that helps…
For paint consider donating it to a theatre company as well for sets.
