If you have experience in retail sales, love winter sports and paddle sports, the Puget Sound, the Cascades, and engaging with customers on a regular basis, this is the position for you!
Daily Duties of Sales Associate:
– Engage with customers to help educate them and purchase equipment for their needs in skiing, snowboarding, x/c, backcountry, accessories and clothing.
– Handle money and operate a modern cloud based point of sale system
– Merchandise and organize store inventory and maintain a clean, organized store.
– Organize large shipments of equipment, assist in receiving and unpacking large shipments
– Assist Head of Sales in achieving sales goals and other seasonal projects.
Long Term Duties:
– Collaborate with staff at annual events and festivals.
– Assist in store sale promotions and customer outreach.
– Assist in a bi-annual inventory.
Qualifications:
– 1-3 years of experience in retail and/or sales is required, please show this in your resume.
– Passion, interest and/or experience in local winter sports.
– Ability to work with customers and other staff without discrimination or conflicts.
– Can take instruction well from management and senior staff members.
– Moderate knowledge and/or interest of industry brands and vendors
– Must have good technical abilities. Able to absorb and learn computer concepts and installation procedures quickly and troubleshoot issues independently when needed.
Compensation:
– 25-35 hours a week
– Hourly wage between $13-$15 depending on experience
– This position is designed as a year round position for the right person, with potential for growth as we develop our business.

Puget Sound Puppers LLC has an opening for a motivated candidate to join our team of compassionate and dedicated Professional Dog Walkers in West Seattle. Hours will average 10-20 hours per week once training is complete, depending on our scheduling needs. Ideal availability is between 10am and 4pm Monday through Friday.
The sort of people who join our team show a commitment to working with dogs and other pets for the long term, so experience is not necessarily required. However, we will only consider candidates who can demonstrate a level of dedication that matches ours.

We are looking for an entry level Warehouse Associate to work in PNTA’s warehouse. Your primary responsibility as a Warehouse Associate is general maintenance. This includes:
Theatrical equipment quality control,
Cable testing,
Minor repairs,
Listening and seeking to understand,
Facilitating,
Prioritizing,
Problem-solving, and
Warehouse cleaning (sweeping, dusting, keeping benches stocked and clean).As a Warehouse Associate, you work under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager and interact often not only with other staff throughout the company but occasionally also with customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Gear Knowledge. It’s really helpful if you have some experience in live event production, but it’s not a necessity. Regardless of prior experience, you must have a voracious appetite for new knowledge. You must be comfortable with your geeky side and eager to learn about new technologies and gear. If you have ever been called a “jack of all trades (with a cool head under fire)”, this is the position for you.
Inventory control. You are heads up enough to see when we have too much or too little of an item, and you let the Warehouse Manager know so that the problem can be addressed. You care that gear is in good repair and correctly stored between use.
Good working with your hands. You have a technical aptitude. If you have experience in carpentry and/or construction, you will succeed in the warehouse.
Miscellaneous projects. The Warehouse Manager will throw random, one-off projects at you.
Other Duties:
Assist in shipping, as directed.
Assist with periodic inventories, as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Qualifications:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend and lift gear up to 50 lbs for the majority of an eight-hour workday.
Must have the ability to read and write English.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must be able to prioritize your workday according to multiple deadlines.
Must work well under pressure. When a rush job pops up, you handle it in a calm and timely manner, then immediately return to your regular workflow…even on busy days when rush jobs arise every 15 minutes.
A sense of humor is strongly recommended but not required.
Prior production experience preferred.This is not a position for the faint of heart. For those with enough strength and determination, there is room for advancement.
This is a full-time position starting at $12-$14/hour, DOE.
