I’m a hardcore Harry Potter fan and the awesome was AMAZING! Although we are also members of the Science center and are tickets were less, I would of paid the full price as well.
Along with all the props and set memorabilia(which is awesome),You have a chance that you may be one of the lucky ones to be sorted before going into the train area. You can sit in Hagrids chair, you can throw a Quaffle or 2 through the Quidditch rings. You also get to pull a mandrake out of the pot, which doing all of those were awesome.
Things to take in account before going into the exhibit that once you are in you cant have re-entry. So bathroom break before. You can not take pictures of the items or exhibit, but there is an amazing exhibit book that you can purchase at the store while leaving. They also sell an audio tour before you go in and on rare occasions you have a chance to win one if you know everything about HP. In my opinion though, it’s too loud to be able to hear it. It gets kind of loud in there.
If you do go, use it as a chance to take the bus into the city and take the Monorail from Westlake as it has received the screen coverings for it to look like the Hogwarts Express train. Just be sure to have cash as the monorail does not accept cards (debit/credit, or ORCA cards)
