Don’t tell the Persians.. they wanted access to the Med… 400,000 troops and over 1000 naval warships to try and get it. Aleppo was a huge trading port for the Persian empire. And… a pipeline to the Med would be a major boon for Iran. Who was that historical figure…? Oh, yea Darius the Great…. a Med port would give Iran access to the European markets. Ya think the tussle for empires, has focused on access to the Med for thousands of years..? Greeks, Romans, Persian, Egyptians, Ottomans, … See how it works? With Iraq as a client state, Syria as an ally, … Iran would love a med seaport. Face it… Iran is looking for hegemony from the Gulf Coast to the Med… makes strategic and economic sense as much today as it did for at least a dozen civilizations. Look at the map,.. again. Italy, France, were Irans biggest oil customers… tanker around Africa or pipeline to Aleppo? Geography is not hard and the history of conflict is no harder. Iran absolutely intends to have Med acccess… see Lebanon, See Syria, See iraq and how much Iran has invested in taking over or using them as client states. Isreal stand stands in the way…they pushed the Iranian and Syrians out of Beirut and into the Bakaa…..

DPB… I don’t care if he the thinks the moon is made of green cheese.. Obama believes Rumpstilskin can spin paper into gold at the US Treasury and we can climb the magic bean stalk of 20 trillion in deficits to the goose that lays the golden egg. Take your pick…

And of couse Mr. Editor…. did you do some fact checking? Or fart out something you heard?

“The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) takes no official position on whether or not biological evolution has occurred, or on the validity of the modern evolutionary synthesis as a scientific theory. However, in the 20th century, the LDS Church published doctrinal statements on the origin of man and creation. In addition, individual leaders of the LDS Church have expressed a variety of opinions on evolution, many of which have affected the beliefs and perceptions of Latter-day Saints.

Gosh… surprise surprise… you don’t know s— about the subject….

And what does the candidate say? and what has he done?

“I believe that God designed the universe and created the universe,” Mr. Romney said in an interview this week. “And I believe evolution is most likely the process he used to create the human body.”

He was asked: Is that intelligent design?

“I’m not exactly sure what is meant by intelligent design,” he said. “But I believe God is intelligent and I believe he designed the creation. And I believe he used the process of evolution to create the human body.”

While governor of Massachusetts, Mr. Romney opposed the teaching of intelligent design in science classes.

“In my opinion, the science class is where to teach evolution, or if there are other scientific thoughts that need to be discussed,” he said. “If we’re going to talk about more philosophical matters, like why it was created, and was there an intelligent designer behind it, that’s for the religion class or philosophy class or social studies

class.”

Gosh.. another lefty character attack… defend Obama’s economic record and thought… now that is a truly mythical creation… economic creationism. From overspending and massive deficits we can create prosperity. Some of the social and economic catechism of the left is more asinine that “intelligent design” it lacks both, intelligence and design.
