Coyotes in Fauntleroy Park tonight?

That’s what Amy is wondering about:

Anybody else hearing coyotes in Fauntleroy Park tonight? I’m about one or two lots away from the southwest side of the park (the wetlands feeding the creek go through my back yard) and heard a very odd hooting/crying type noise. My dog started whining, too. Is that the coyotes?

Last night, I was running up California Ave SW where it connects Brace Point into Barton (Just past the YMCA) when I saw what appeared to be a coyote run from SW Director across Barton towards Fauntleroy Park…this would have been about 7pm-ish…I didn’t see it after this, but did here some dogs whining/barking right after that.

I wasn’t 100% sure it was a coyote but it definitely looked like it.

My boyfriend lives on Barton/37th abutting Fauntleroy Park and there are coyotes in his yard all the time. He has started keeping his cats inside 24/7 so they don’t get eaten like his neighbor’s cat did. The coyotes are not scared of humans at all.

Anybody have any suggestions for a reputable, economical TV repair service in W.S.?

It seems like I’ve been hearing coyotes more and more frequently down near my house recently. I’m on 26th where the West Seattle golf course is my backyard.

Coyotes are indeed in the green belt that includes the golf course and camp long. The racoons are more numerous though and roam the neighborhood at night and sometimes in the early morning. Coyotes are a bit more wary of humans (or more correctly large dogs) than the racoons are since coyotes don’t recognize the fact that the dogs are fenced and cannot get to them. These urban Racoons tease the dogs by walking close to the fence. It drives the dogs nuts.

I have never had a tv repaired since I am not picky about them and someone always has one to give away. But there has been a repair shop located on 35th between Holdon and Morgan, for several years.

I fix my own LCD monitors since if it is not the tuner, it is just the backlight.

I have recently seen a coyote on 47th SW, just south and west of Fauntleroy park. It was on the large side as coyotes go. Would second the suggestion to keep cats inside and small pets in the area on a leash when outside and inside at night. (Coyotes do hunt during daylight as well as at night and can be very fast and aggressive when food is involved). They are not generally aggressive toward humans.
