Mark32ParticipantAnyone else looking for a couple days of over night rain showers?

jissyParticipantI haven’t washed my car in YEARS but I actually did this past week, trying anything!

TanDLParticipantYes… Yes! Let it rain. My garden could use a nice cooling shower of free water and the air could use a cleansing. How about we all start humming rain songs? I can start with “The Day That the Rains Came Down, Mother Earth Smiled Again… “

waynsterParticipanthere is one for the ages even sometimes I catch myself singing this one outside when it rains ….lmao..

TanDLParticipantNice, Waynster! I even got a tiny chill watching that! :)

anonymeParticipantIf you look up into the canopy, you can see that even the trees are suffering. At this point, it’s welcome to pour day or night — no complaints here…

SmittyParticipantNight. Day. Doesn’t matter.
We need a good old cleansing and old mother earth could use a little drink.
That said, 2 days would be enough – preferably Monday/Tuesday though!

AdmiralJanewayParticipantWe could use some rain for sure. I’m not complaining though. I think back to some years where we hardly had a summer.
Remember the inversion layer a few summers ago? It covered most of Puget Sound with overcast skies, but the other side of the Cascades was warm and sunny.

JanSParticipantI hear we may get some sprinkles on Tuesday…but that’s not exactly like “rain”…

TanDLParticipantAwoke to a light drizzle of rain this morning, with the ground already damp. I don’t know when I’ve been so happy!

anonymeParticipantdatamuse, thanks for the new word! I just love new words, don’t you? Especially this one.
At first I didn’t know what that weird sound was outside; it was raindrops. The amount of rain this morning wasn’t worth spit as far as plants go, but it sure does feel (and smell!) wonderful…
