Anyone else looking for a couple days of over night rain showers?
What’s this “Rain” you speak of?
I haven’t washed my car in YEARS but I actually did this past week, trying anything!
Yes… Yes! Let it rain. My garden could use a nice cooling shower of free water and the air could use a cleansing. How about we all start humming rain songs? I can start with “The Day That the Rains Came Down, Mother Earth Smiled Again… “
here is one for the ages even sometimes I catch myself singing this one outside when it rains ….lmao..
Nice, Waynster! I even got a tiny chill watching that! :)
If you look up into the canopy, you can see that even the trees are suffering. At this point, it’s welcome to pour day or night — no complaints here…
Night. Day. Doesn’t matter.
We need a good old cleansing and old mother earth could use a little drink.
That said, 2 days would be enough – preferably Monday/Tuesday though!
i for one would like god to water
We could use some rain for sure. I’m not complaining though. I think back to some years where we hardly had a summer.
Remember the inversion layer a few summers ago? It covered most of Puget Sound with overcast skies, but the other side of the Cascades was warm and sunny.
I hear we may get some sprinkles on Tuesday…but that’s not exactly like “rain”…
Awoke to a light drizzle of rain this morning, with the ground already damp. I don’t know when I’ve been so happy!
it smells so good!
datamuse, thanks for the new word! I just love new words, don’t you? Especially this one.
At first I didn’t know what that weird sound was outside; it was raindrops. The amount of rain this morning wasn’t worth spit as far as plants go, but it sure does feel (and smell!) wonderful…
