I have been to the Seattle Chinese Garden and I didn’t think it was what I was expecting. I actually liked their little arboretum that is next to the Chinese garden better.

Hamilton View Point on California, plus the green-space park above Alki Ave just below.

The Bonaire Green Space Park (secluded, above Alki, check it out before you need it the greenery may have grown up.)

Jack Block Park near Saltys. Worth a hike to the far tower platform. If a painted lady (aka cruise ship) is going or coming, good view, ferries, downtown.
