GoGoParticipantMe and the dogs just discovered this park on Saturday, it’s just south of Salty’s. Does anyone else know about it or frequent it? It’s a nice park but was totally deserted when we were there on Saturday.

JanSParticipantJack Block Park is an undiscovered gem in our community. The view is incredible when you walk out to the very end of the walkway…and , yes, no crowds :)

rockergirlMemberNice place to enjoy a walk – with or without your dog. Lovely view, lots of wildlife viewing and pesticide free gardens. Make sure to keep your pooch on there leash and pick up poo as there are families, rollerbladers, bicyclists as well as walkers who frequent the park. Enjoy the view!

Garden_nymphMemberAll the smooth black top is where my daughter learned to roller blade. It is a great “secret” park. On my daughter’s birthday, years ago, we went there so she could ride her bike and there was a man playing his bagpipe at the end of the pier. Great view, music, parking has never been a problem. The steep hill is great for rolling down too.

HMC RichParticipantWe go there quite often. It is Valhalla for pre-schooler kids who love big rigs with the docks right there. Loading and unloading containers on trains with top picks, hustlers and other trucks. Bring some different lenses for the shots of downtown.
