The current “ pause ** †in global warming recorded by two satellites and thousands of weather balloons, now nearly two decades on, does give pause to the hypothesis that higher CO2 will inevitably lead to higher temperatures.

During this period of no significant warming, about one-third of all human CO2 emissions since the beginning of the Industrial Age has been emitted into the atmosphere. The best outcome would be that CO2 does cause some measure of warming, but somewhat lower than that suggested by extreme predictions.

** It will only become evident, within 14 to 18 months from June of 2016 as to whether the now ending strong El Nino has added any ” step ” to the pause of almost 20 years. See both UAH and RSS Temp anomaly data.

The owner of 3520 SW Admiral Way decided to remove several protected trees in the environmentally critical greenbelt region this past week, sometime between Monday night (June 21) and Wednesday. These were fully mature maples that had been here for 40-50 yrs. About 10 trees were lost. The police and seattle parks division have been notified. The owner of the property just listed their house on the MLS yesterday touting the new “Sweeping Views” which didn’t exist on Monday. The illegal cutting is disgusting and they simply left all the fallen trees in a hit and run chopping. Their new view to the northeast now opens up to downtown. I wish they would post a close up photo of the killed trees in their MLS listing so that folks know the cost of this. Interested parties that want to share their thoughts with the owner should stop by. 3520 Admiral Way. It appears the realtor is not with a well known agency. If anyone has further details about this please share.

All the views shown in their MLS listing did not exist prior to Monday. I hope the tree poachers get what they deserve:

Got really good video last night of a dog that was not only off leash but it pooped and the owners didn’t scoop. This is what we are and have been up against for years despite community meetings, extra patrols from Animal Control, and signs, sign, signs. I know we need more off leash areas but will this prevalent off leash/scoop violations go away? I doubt it. Are there more good owners than bad? It’s hard to tell when I go to Lincoln Park. I always see leash violations, sometimes, in just a few minutes of arriving. Last night it was about 50/50. Please watch this:

+1 for the OP. This is a stress point for my family, too. We were nearly run over the other day on the same sideWALK by a woman yelling “Pay attention!” as she zoomed by. My wife was on the right side, plenty of room for the bike to have passed safely on the left. How about a pleasant bell or “on your left” call as you approach. The vitriol and poor behavior reflects poorly on all riders and will, in the end, have a detrimental impact on all the privileges you’ve fought to win.

Bicyclists take note: even if a sideWALK is “zoned” for wheels you must SHARE the path. You don’t own it. Those on wheels should not be going so fast on the sideWALK. If you cannot safely navigate the ambulating population or if you want to go fast, use the freakin road – you can, you know! It’s right there and there IS a bike symbol on the road. So often there’s not even traffic – they’d have the road to themselves yet they choose to run rampant on a crowded sideWALK. We pedestrians have no choice – we are not allowed to walk in the street. Respect that and slow down.

Yeah, my CAPS are intentional and passive-aggressive but what are ya gonna do. Here’s GSV showing the bike lane, btw.

I don’t know why someone would post an article from 2012 (penned by an avowed opponent of renewable energy in response to climate change) when Germany revised it’s Renewable Energy Resources Act in 2014 to make significant changes throughout the program. German Renewable Energy Act

It appears German consumers experienced a decrease in energy costs in 2015 for the first time since assuming some of the expense for transitioning from fossil and nuclear sources. And it seems those consumers are satisfied with how the program has progressed. Well, perhaps not the climate change skeptics. German households

Ummm. The Republicans will do no such thing. Smitty I like you, but to say the R’s promote violence is insane and needs a response. With the premise peaceful protest is legal but violence is not, I will continue.

As we saw in California and New Mexico the people who are against freedom of speech get violent with pro Trump supporters. These “protests” are backed by certain paid leftist groups and other freelancers. It is unconscionable that a Presidential Candidate cannot have a rally without their supporters fearing for their safety. The San Jose police did not do their job last week. Their mayor told them to stand down. It was unfortunate that a gay Latino pro Trump man was beaten and given a broken nose and a slight concussion. Looks bad under the microscope. Why were people getting chased and assaulted? Those weren’t Republicans causing the violence.

This Link shows documents of reports. This is horrible. https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/06/09/san-jose-undercover-cops-trump-supporters-were-running-for-their-lives-we-were-unable-to-help/

the media exposure shows how idiotic leftist fascists can be. In fact check this out regarding the San Jose Mayor…

From the link… ” San Jose Police Chief Garcia admitted his officers were instructed not to stop violent protesters from beating the Trump rally attendees. In addition the San Jose Mayor has openly admitted to approving the San Jose police departments plans, and blamed Donald Trump for having the audacity to have a rally in “his city“.

California is such a one party state that opposing views are not allowed anymore I guess.

Looks bad doesn’t it. I didn’t want Trump as my nominee but while the press gets up in arms because of Hillary’s expensive wardrobe or Trump saying a judge that openly supports illegal immigrants and is a large LaRaza member, anti Trump supporters are attacking citizens. The statement from Smitty and another above tries to deflect it to make it a Republican problem. It is not. Your party has a huge problem. if there is violence it is usually from leftists. Knock it off.

Although I am not a big Trump fan, stories like this show why he has many supporters. Especially when the Government (the one that was going to be the most transparent ever…) is caught hiding information … Again. I so hate the lying from DC.

I guess in the perfect GREEN DREAM the residential users adjust there lifestyle but that doesn’t happen and so it is always the residential customer that gets hurt in the renewable death spiral. The baseload provider and the industry are usually quite happy and leave the residential customer to rot.

Previously they claimed that there was no need for any kind of backup for renewables.
Next, they claimed that battery technology would somehow come along and make renewables work.
Their newest claim : it’s ok to have a lot of renewables so long as someone else is providing the back up.

Examples will have to be made : Germany.

Big business are exempt from paying the additional green tax to support the switchover to renewables, because if they weren’t, they have to raise their prices substantially and even the greenest of green governments knows what that means. Bang goes any competitive edge on the exports front and eventually, the manufacturers would simply relocate to a more business friendly country. With a revolver like that held to their head, Berlin caved in to business interests. When all six chambers are loaded, it’s a no brainer, even for greens.

The state electricity grid is obliged to buy electricity from renewable sources at guaranteed prices, which are well above the wholesale prices charged by the traditional generators. Who’s financing that gap ? Well, that’s the government but one has to ask where they are they getting all the extra money to do that ? Easy, they just charge the consumers an extra tax on their bill.

The Danish government has announced a new proposal to resolve the problem of the renewable energy tax (PSO) which the EU believes to be illegal and which has become markedly more expensive for businesses and citizens than planned.

    WA Tide Gauge

Its now been 28 years since the conjecture of these early sea level rise climate alarmist claims was presented to Congress. However the latest updated NOAA coastal tide gauge measurement data shows locations likely to experience only inches of sea level rise by mid century ( not one to four feet as climate alarmists speculated to Congress in 1998 ) with that increase consistent with long standing and unchanging rates of sea level rise measured at these coastal locations. This location along with all other U.S. coastal locations show no sea level rise acceleration.

    Sensitivity studies over time

The climate sensitivity due to CO2 is expressed as the temperature change in °C associated with a doubling of the concentration of carbon dioxide in Earth’s atmosphere ( the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report: from 280 to a concentration of 560 ppmv [ parts per million by volume ] ).

Scientists made numerous estimates of climate sensitivity over the last few decades and have yet to determine the correct value. The figure shows the change in published climate sensitivity measurements over the past 15 years.
