Hi, I have a pair of never-been-worn women’s 500-series Blundstone Original boots in classic “Stout Brown” that I received as a gift (from unknown retailer, and thus I cannot ethically return). They are the same as this, in women’s size 9: https://www.rei.com/product/120621/blundstone-original-500-boots-womens. They have never been worn. I would love for them to find a good home with someone who will show them more attention. They retail for $184.95 – I’ll part with them for $100. If you’re in North Admiral, as I am, even better for ease of exchange.

You might think differently if you for example read the police report of what happened to two Roxbury Safeway employees who tried to stop shoplifters; I happened onto while researching this

CRIME WATCH FOLLOWUP: 2 robbery suspects charged

It wasn’t the main subject of that story so I summarized. But the detailed narrative was rather vivid. Head slammed into concrete by one shoplifter-turned-robber as other pulled gun, etc.

And those were teenagers. Perhaps the solution will eventually be technological so no one has to risk life and limb – if your items aren’t paid for, an invisible field stops you from leaving the store? I’m no inventor so don’t ask me how that would work.

    Hi!

I’m a second year law student at Santa Clara University School of Law and I’m doing some deep investigative research into the (infamous) Internet law case: Zeran v. AOL. Ken once spoke at my law school a few years ago and I would love the opportunity to chat with him. I can’t seem to find or get ahold of him though.

What happened to Ken was horrible. My goal is to tell the complete story and maybe shed some light on the biggest “whodunnit” in Internet law history. Thanks!

The end of 2019 (and the decade!) is upon us, so it’s time for a year-end Seattle area market update. The median sale price in King County was $610,000 at the end of November, and it’s stayed relatively flat throughout the year. Part of the reason is because inventory is so low. While we’re still in a seller’s market, conditions aren’t as insane as in years past. To find out more, watch this short video.

I’m so sorry about your cat. I had to put my dog down in somewhat expected yet urgent circumstances this summer, and it’s never easy. I think it’s hard to make the call in your situation, and I’m keeping you in my thoughts. What’s clear to me is that you are doing an amazing job caring for Bean in his twilight years, so many pets don’t get as much love and attention that your Bean is experiencing. No matter when you decide it is time, know that your attention and care to your cat gave him a fantastic life!

We consulted with a hospice vet when we knew our dog’s condition was not curable and he was getting toward the end of his life. Although we weren’t able to put him down at home, it was great consulting with a vet who could help us make him comfortable in his final weeks. If your vet doesn’t provide in-home end of life care, and you are interested, I recommend Dr. Jason at https://gentlehandscherishedpaws.com/
