That sounds pretty unnerving, especially considering the current situation. It’s crucial for healthcare professionals to prioritize safety protocols, especially with something as contagious as COVID-19. Props to Dr. Smith’s assistant for maintaining professionalism amidst the chaos. It’s a shame that the rest of the staff didn’t follow suit. Your health should never be compromised, especially in a medical setting. As for dentist recommendations, I’ve heard good things about Dr. Jeffrey Gross in Eastlake, OH. Haven’t personally been there, but I’ve heard they prioritize patient safety, here’s the link: https://jeffreygrossdds.com/. It’s worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for a safer experience.

I was surprised to see this story in Seattle Times earlier this month. I had never heard about this event, and I didn’t see any reporting on WSB from the time frame (maybe I missed it?)

A man being killed by residents in much the same way as George Floyd died in the winter after the protests seems newsworthy to me, but I can’t find any other coverage besides the ST article. Seems like it would be as much of a topic as the latest gunfire, car accident, package theft etc.

Is this something everyone knows about? Can anyone point me to other coverage?

I’ve been navigating my way through a chronic injury and it’s been a tough ride. But, I found a silver lining when I came across this link: https://ways2well.com/health/chronic-injury. It’s packed with valuable insights that helped me understand my condition better. The strategies I found there were novel and gave me a fresh approach towards managing my situation. It’s a resource that I believe could help many others who are in the same boat as me. Do yourself a favour and give it a look.

I know this is a long shot. About a week ago I lost my wedding ring. Apparently, slipped off my finger at some point without me noticing, possibly on a jog around Lincoln Park or possibly somewhere else. I’ve linked a photo of the ring below. I would be grateful to have it returned, on the off chance someone came across it.

Yes they are. The people you talked to are wrong. They are “neighborhood traffic circles”, and you’re supposed to go around to the right if possible. “If possible” includes situations where you got there first and you just don’t feel like driving around the circle.

Neighbors…once again I’m reaching out as a volunteer on behalf of the West Seattle Clothesline (https://westseattlefoodbank.org/clothesline/). We’ve been seeing a gradual increase in the number of families stopping by and are currently averaging about 20 families/day! Since we want to make sure we have enough offerings to meet the needs of all our clients, please consider donating now! In particular, we are in desperate need of Men’s clothing, especially shirts (all types…dress, polo, tee), pants/shorts, sweatshirts/hoodies/sweaters, and shoes/sneakers. Additionally, we can use a new influx of bedding and towels.

As you consider donating items, please make sure your donations are in good shape (i.e. you would still wear or use…but perhaps don’t fit, have outgrown the style, or just cleaning out your closets)! It would be ideal if your donations were bagged in garbage/plastic bags that can be closed. This helps us keep them clean and dry.
The Clothesline is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am – 1pm, and it is located at 4425 41st Ave SW, Seattle WA. A large parking lot is available.

Thank you… thank you…thank you. The generosity of our West Seattle neighbors has always reinforced the Food Bank’s motto of Neighbors Helping Neighbors! With gratitude and appreciation, Meade Thayer

Duties – The primary duties are to provide companionship/play, feed, clean boxes and light clean up if needed. Some cats will want to play, others cuddle and some may not wish to engage. The expectation while on the job is to read and follow detailed instructions from an APP on your phone, adapting to moving needs and situations, all while caring for the cat(s). Please only apply if you are a ‘cat person’ and enjoy their company.
Please be able to follow detailed instructions – Many of our clients have special needs and requests. It is imperative that you follow all client requirements to ensure the safety and well being of yourself, the pets and the property.
Communication – With any pet services job, you are going to have questions, concerns or complications at some point. We work as a team communicating with each other for support.
