I put off switching for years for the same reason. Thought it would be a huge hassle. Wasn’t at all. You can order and schedule an installation appointment online. From beginning to end it was a flawless transition with outstanding customer service. Something I never received in the 20 years with comcast. I love DirecTV and will never, ever, ever go back to cable.
FYI, I have both analog and digital TV’s. Looks great on both.
