DP: Thanks for the info. I’m actually very familiar with the Asia/Pacific route. However, this time I was flirting with the idea of flying directly from Seattle and saving myself the extra hours that flying through LAX involves.
I generally prefer Cathay Pacific but they unfortunately don’t fly out of Seattle. EVA and Asiana are new to me. I have specifically been looking at reviews of their business class cabins. It doesn’t look like they have any lie-flat beds which do make a difference on those long flights. But they are significantly less expensive than the airlines that do. So I’m going to have to decide if almost flat is going to be worth the savings.
