Wanted: Recycled Lumber and Materials for Chicken Coop

We’re constructing a 4′ x 5′ chicken coop that needs to be completed by November 1. We’re hoping to use only reclaimed materials for our coop design.

Recycled items that we can use:

2x4s, 2x6s, 4x4s

plywood

corrugated metal and plastic roofing material

old windows

hardware cloth, chicken wire

In addition to Second Used in Southpark, there is also the Habitat for Humanity Store I think on 1st Ave So. that has reclaimed materials. Hope this helps:)

I have an old chicken coop that I made that you are more than welcome to. Too big for my car but you can come by and dismantle it. I’ll e-mail you with some details.
