Lack of Fresh Made Bagels in WS

Today’s “controversy” over slicing bagels is a reminder to me that there are no bagel shops in all of West Seattle. I’ve had plenty of fresh hot bagels in NYC, and I’ve tried the Montreal style bagels in Minneapolis. Both are delicious. And so I think there’s room here, if anyone is interested, in starting a fresh bagel shop so I don’t have drive off the peninsula to get my fix.

Yes someone please open a bagel shop!!! there used to be a shop by Met Market, Zatz a better Bagel they made there’s on-site and I thought they were yummy!Can’t remember why they closed.

My co-publisher is among those greatly impressed by Beep Boop Bagels, a relatively new vendor at the West Seattle Farmers’ Market.

ok……Beep Boop Bagels is fabulous (NY expert here). Get to the market before 11 a.m. or they are out. Hot ticket and good for them!

Haven’t tried Beep Boop’s yet and my sleepy-head get ready can’t make it to the FM in time to buy any so it still means that there is no bagel shop in WS :>(

Blazing Bagels on 1st & Holgate has good bagels. I know its not WS but not far either.

It’s a drive, but Einstein’s Bagels in Mercer Island has great bagel sandwiches! We need a place that makes bagel sandwiches in West Seattle!! So miss Zatz.
