JOB OVERVIEW

Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School is seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable full time Early Childhood Lead Teacher. OLG Early Learning Center is expanding to a full-day licensed preschool program with teacher and aide in each class, preparing students for kindergarten readiness in a faith-filled, loving environment. OLG fosters Gospel values, inspires academic excellence, and develops service and leadership. The successful candidates must be energetic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about working with young children.

Full time positions with benefits; salary is dependent on experience and education.

Shift hours are M-F 8am-4pm or M-F 7am-3pm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

Prefer Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education, relevant teaching experience in an accredited school, and a practicing Catholic to share the faith with our 3 and 4 yr old students.

Minimum education must be an AA or CDA in Early Childhood Education.

— Desire to be part of a Catholic faith community and to joyfully share faith with children
— Able to understand, articulate, and put into practice current developmentally appropriate practices in Early Childhood education
— Love of young learners and their educational journey!
— Experience creating and sustaining effective parent partnerships
— Effective oral and written communication skills
— Commitment to ongoing professional development
— Familiarity with Second Step and Handwriting without Tears considered a plus!

— Documentation of negative TB test
— 20 Hours Basic STARS course certificate
— BBP/HIV/AIDS course certificate
— First Aid/CPR course certificate (can be completed onsite in August)
