After School Nanny

We are looking for a Part-Time After School Nanny to handle pick-up/drop off and light housework and errands (helping girls do chores, meal prep, picking up grocery).

We have a 6 y/o and 3 y/o both at different schools (Queen Anne preschool, and elementary school in West Seattle).

We need someone comfortable driving them place to place, good at engaging them with fun activities at home and outside, and is well-organized.

The schedule is ~2pm-7pm M-F (some flexibility; expect at least 20-22 hrs a week).

We’d greatly appreciate someone flexible enough to handle routines that may change regularly, making sure the girls needs are always prioritized and met.

We’re willing to take any experience-level if the applicant can demonstrate responsibility, passion for child-care, effective communicator, and the ability to self-manage prioritizing various tasks.

Non-negotiables:

• Clean driving record/background check
• Non-smoker
• Tax witholding (salary will be increased accordingly)

Good morning. I am an older, responsible female with a flexible schedule that could be a real fit for your children. I have an active relationship with my 9 and 6 year old granddaughter, and know the importance of being engaging and finding teachable moments. I am a safe driver with a clean driving record and can easily pass a background check. My current vehicle is well kept up, clean, and reliable.
For many years, I have been a caregiver to the elderly for the past seven years, and consider myself very caring and honest in my dealings with them and would be that way with your family. I understand what a trustworthy position you would place on a caregiver with your children.
In the past, I have also worked for an after school program at a local elementary school. Part of that program was an instructional time with age appropriate activities to keep it interesting.
I also enjoy excellent health and would enjoy outdoor time, even in the rain or cold.
