Qualifications & Responsibilities

- Preparing and plating orders as they come in to recipe and presentation specifications
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen, cooking utensils, and dishes and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
- Calmly organize and prioritize multiple tasks under time pressure without direct supervision
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to a total of 8 hours a shift
- Represent the brewery with the utmost integrity
- Contributes as a collaborative teammate with brewers and hospitality staff
- Possess a valid King County Food Handler s Permit

Job Summary
*This is an on-site positionProvides specialized individual or small group training. Instructs individual or group wellness, fitness, trainings and/or related classes. Acts as a liaison and advocate for YMCA. Understands the Health Seeker target market and provides motivational coaching to members participating in ongoing YMCA programs.

Responsibilities
Plans and instructs classes or programs in a specialty area. Observes and discusses individual progress with participants.

Encourages member and parent involvement and identifies potential volunteers.
Attends staff meetings and approved trainings as required.
Sets up and takes down class equipment. Reports equipment problems.
Ensures safe and effective classes. Responds to, and reports, accidents and incidents.
Conveys basic knowledge of all Y Total Health/Activate America programs.
Tracks, monitors, evaluates and transitions assigned Total Health participants providing motivational support and counseling. Accurately maintains related records.
Leads ongoing YMCA Total Health classes or programs in a specialized area.
Qualifications
Two or more years experience teaching or practicing in specialized area.
Ability to lead a class or provide individual service.
Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
Ability to motivate and educate members.
Ability to set up, move and store equipment.
Personal Trainer certification: Nationally recognized certification such as YMCA Fitness Specialist Trainer, YMCA Fitness Testing and Assessment Specialist Trainer, ACSM, ACE, NSCA.

Position Type/Location
We are looking to hire a full time seasonal lead teacher. Ideally, the candidate would start by June 20th and end at the end of August. There is a possibility this role could turn into a permanent position. The expected hours are Mon-Friday from around 8am-3pm but there is some slight flexibility in those exact times. This candidate will work at Midway Elementary in Des Moines for the first 4-5 weeks of the program and then at an elementary school in Renton for the last 4-5 weeks. About the Role: Rebellyous Foods is seeking Guest Helpers to make our plant-based meat products at our fun and dynamic food production facility in West Seattle. Join our team of committed production professionals whose job duties include, but are not limited to:
Cleaning equipment, dishes, production floor and warehouse on a daily basis.
Plant-based meat processing (measuring ingredients, mixing, frying, freezing, packaging).
Operating and maintaining food processing machinery (with training) in a safe fashion.
Completion of production/facility sanitation tasks with a commitment to food and facility safety.
Filling and maintaining batch record logs accurately and in a timely manner.
Testing equipment and processes in collaboration with/based on recommendation from other departments such as Product Development, Equipment Research and Development, and Engineering Operations.
Communicating with Leads and Supervisors immediately when there are any concerns about product quality and safety, as well as machine malfunctions.
Support for the transportation of equipment, supplies, and products to and from our warehouse and storage spaces.
Attend and actively support operational meetings.Skills and Experience Requirements:
Ability and willingness to operate, clean, and assemble a wide variety of complex manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
Ability to diligently follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) including washing and sanitizing hands and gloves, wearing of proper equipment, and practicing good hygiene.
Experience in food production or food manufacturing and/or professional sanitation is highly preferred
Flexibility is a must as day-to-day operations may pivot due to production, or product and equipment testing needs
Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. Commitment to food safety.
Comfortable handling and preparing food with a willingness to learn and follow all procedures and protocols.
Ability to work in an ever-evolving environment with constant changes to processes and equipment.
Has or is willing to obtain a King County Food Worker Card.
Able to lift, bend, squat, and carry up to 40 pounds.
A passion to make the plant-based meat industry succeed.
Ability to work with your hands extensively and stand on your feet for 8 hours.
Ability to complete physical labor such as packaging and cleaning.
Ability to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19.Hours: As a temporary employee, we are looking for people who are able to work flexible hours Monday – Wednesday between 7:00am – 7:00pm. The schedule and number of hours per day may vary.
Compensation Package: Guest Helpers start at $18.00 per hour. The hourly rate will increase if this position converts into a full time position.

Qualifications & Responsibilities
-Ensuring that the kitchen operational procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
-Two years of experience with priority given to longevity
-Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen
-Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients to recipe and presentation specifications
-Preparing and plating orders as they come in to recipe and presentation specifications
-Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
-Washing and cleaning the kitchen, cooking utensils, and dishes and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
-Calmly organize and prioritize multiple tasks under time pressure without direct supervision
-Stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to a total of 8 hours a shift
-Represent the brewery with the utmost integrity
-Contributes as a collaborative teammate with brewers and hospitality staff
-Possess a valid King County Food Handler’s PermitBonus Points
-Vocational or college degree in related field
-Knowledge of ingredient sourcing, connection to food distributor networks
-Experience with menu development, including cost / price modelling
-Knowledge of craft beer and desire to develop food pairings
-Experience working with TurboChef High Speed Ovens
