Hi! I have a 3 year old currently at bloom. And my two year old will be starting in the fall. We absolutely love everything about it. Teacher Stacy keeps the kids busy. They take walks, do yoga, arts and crafts and so much more. The older bloomers do more in terms of prepping for kindergarten. My daughter comes home with projects from learning her alphabet. They had caterpillars a couple weeks ago and she came home telling me that it was a chrysalis. We love that it’s a smaller class. The teachers really have time to work with the students. I highly recommend bloom!

A lot of people think Trader Joe’s is cheap, however they make huge profits in impulse shopping-over the competition. They intentionally create or move into places with small parking lots and have narrow aisles to create a panicky atmosphere. People see the full lot and think there’s something going on. The same with inside, it’s crowded, people compete for their space in line. it brings out the worst in people. I save money wherever I go because I only buy what I need and what fits in my backpack. whether it’s Safeway, Met Market or PCC.

Great little boat, takes on water really slow but still works for a day of fishing. Likely will need fiberglass at some point.

Just want it gone, we no longer use it. It is on the parking strip. I will remove this post as soon as it is gone! 2738 38th ave sw, 98126

@Franci and @birdresuer, thanks for your comments. We are presently looking into acupuncture and other therapies. As far as a condition update, Leo is 2 weeks since his surgery and has started to swing his right leg forward as we walk with his sling (to hold up his butt). No action from his left leg yet, I am a little worried about that one. He has started to wag the tip of his tail a little which is nice to see. I am starting to research wheeled walker devices now. I have even seen DIY versions on Youtube. Thanks again to all that have donated at https://www.gofundme.com/help-leonardo-walk-again?pc=em_dn_contacts_r&rcid=r01-155873763416-1e93433d42dc48c2&member=2293312.

You can’t blame the pilot of the plane, he’s doing his job… Just like the one you go to everyday.
If he was in the flight path of Sea-Tac or King County Airport, they would have talked to him on the radio.
He did get your attention, so it must be working..

Yesterday we had a small aircraft flying continuously all afternoon towing a GEICO sign. Today another one just passed overhead. This is particularly annoying for those of us already in the flight path from the Sound to King County Airport. The plane yesterday seemed to be mainly on the west side of the peninsula going from Admiral to Arbor Heights back and forth at different blocks like he was mowing a lawn. Why didn’t he move on to Magnolia, Shoreline or down to Federal Way?

Do these people have any idea how annoying their campaign is? If anything it would cause me to shun their product or service. Wondering if there are regulations or limits to what these people can do to our airspace.

How about this? Park up on the 2nd level and take the elevator down. Perhaps some of the customers don’t know that there is parking up there.

I would NEVER block traffic just so I could get a parking spot.

    lowmanbeachdrive

I’ve noticed that the parking lot at Trader Joe’s fills up and folks will line up their cars waiting for new spots. The line of cars will back up onto Fauntleroy, blocking evening rush hour commuters in the south-bound right lane on Fauntleroy. If you are mobility impaired, I understand. If you are not mobility impaired, why don’t you drive a block and park somewhere else? Or go somewhere else to buy a salad? Why would you block one of two lanes on one of the busiest roads in West Seattle at rush hour just to have a parking space at Trader Joe’s? I get it, TJ’s is great. But, you are slowing down literally hundreds of tired commuters that are just trying to get home.

We are looking to get the word out on a “GoFundMe” page to assist with veterinary expenses on our 2 year old Basset Hound, Leonardo. My daughter, a student at WSHS, developed the GFM page on her own after learning about the high cost of IVDD spinal surgery and physical therapy to come. Any donations or help in sharing the page would be greatly appreciated. “solar-powered, high-altitude drones – or giant balloons is best and the greenest way to get internet.
    Cell towers are obsolete!

    ****************************
Advances in solar-cell and battery technology have made those technologies more feasible. Last month, Japanese telecommunications giant SoftBank Corp said it would partner with California drone maker AeroVironment Inc to build a drone capable of flying to the stratosphere, hovering around an area for months and serving as a floating cell tower to beam Internet to users on Earth. Airbus and Boeing Co are also working on their own versions of high-flying, solar-powered drones.”
