I voted at home on my laptop, and my husband tried later from his own laptop and it said he had already voted – the only thing we could think of is that we share the same wireless router, so it read that as one vote. So he just went through his work VPN system and voted once that way.
McCain’s co-chair of his Arizona campaign until feb 22… this year..
“Republican Rep. Rick Renzi has been indicted for extortion, wire fraud, money laundering and other charges related to a land deal in Arizona. A 26-page federal indictment unsealed in Arizona accuses Renzi and two former business partners of conspiring to promote the sale of land that buyers could swap for property owned by the federal government. The sale netted one of Renzi’s former partners $4.5 million.”
YOu can get a pay-as-you-go cellphone and buy minutes as you use them. Dealing with the companies, generally, is a nightmare. I went through it with Verizon. Basically, the consumer never wins. I am happier with ATT.
Oh, the trauma of it all. I got 2 cell phones via Sprint on 2/14. One for Mamma and one for me.
Took Mamma’s back (Radio Shack) received with some gritching from Sprint. It had only been used for 1 minute. Don’t know if have to pay monthly fee for it, Guess I could swallow activation fee if I had too.
Also, changed my hours to a lower number and rate.
Yesterday received a $178 statement from Sprint
showing both phones, hookups and of course, higher monthly fees. Talked to customer service in Mexico..Mexico?…said would make a “case” about my questioning of fees and would hear from somebody in 4-6 working days. How the h… do you get a live person to discuss this in a timely manner? Once who can do something about it right then and there. My gut tells me this is just going to be a continuing headache. I am about ready to take this phone back in ‘cuz can still cancel it within 30 day window.
My problem is I still want a cell phone…could be basic…but due to former husband (a gambler, sigh) my credit is all messed up. Is there any way to get a cell phone other than one where you pay lots for each minute? Any advice appreciated.
So, McCain gets angry easily. So does my Dad. But he’s a great, great man and has had an amazing life. He lives on the beach now and surfs every morning. I truly admire him.
McCain knows that he has had anger management issues in the past and he has continually strived to better himself. Believe me, that is not a very big deal. And these are not very detrimental issues you are bringing up. Leads me to conclude that there isn’t much dirt to dig up.
Wow, Jo, you’re right again. I don’t really like Obama and I am very unsatisfied. (Actually, donating to him out of protest for Hillary campaigning in the gutter was almost as satisfying as donating to Edwards.)
I’d appreciate respect for my views and how I come about them. You made a lot of assumptions about me and my thinking.
(for the record, I respect the support of her as a candidate, just not the support of her negative campaigning.)
no newresident.. no fisherman starts with the most expensive lures ;0
as for the instability argument… ask anyone who has suffered one of his fits of anger… the man has a short fuse and doesn’t suffer challenge well…
anger management disorders are a hallmark PTSD.. i think i may not be getting the initials right.. but the disorder caused by a delayed reaction to stress…
I actually like the close proximity of the tables and crowded feeling. It actually feels very European/Italian. If you don’t like dining so close to your neighbors, be sure to avoid two of the best Italian restaurants downtown – Barolo and Tavolata. They’ve both got the communal table thing goin’ on.
I hate the argument that “because McCain was a POW for such a long time and endured torture, he must be unstable”. He has been in public office since 1983. I would think if he were mentally unstable, he wouldn’t be where he is today.
And, furthermore, because he went through what he went through, and is where he is today, says a lot about him.
for a good time… put McCain and lobbyists into google search…
this pops up
a lot more interesting stuff pops up if you keep digging through.. McCains private love affair with lobbyists .. while waging his public battle.. extends back beyond the Keating scandal…
Unlike the Bush crowd.. he doesn’t discriminate:)
