So you want to boycott the company until they make a policy that puts their employees at risk of being shot, stabbed or otherwise harmed? Those policies are there for a reason – if employees have to act as law enforcement officers then they’d need to get paid a lot more money. There would also need to be a lot of training to ensure they handle confrontations properly. Sadly, it’s cheaper to lose a few steaks than it is to deal with lawsuits from grieving employee families after a shoplifting incident goes south.

Looking for someone who loves to run and loves to talk about running. You don’t need anything but a passion for the sport, we will teach you everything else. A retail background would be great, but it isn’t necessary. Your job will be to sell shoes and apparel, stock shelves, keep the store clean, and help customers find the right product. Be able to start and hold a conversation, as that is basic skill for sales. Shy, wall flower types will probably not like the atmosphere, as we are a talkative, engaging group that likes customer interactions.

Warehouse Associate:

The warehouse is where inbound containers are received, bailed, and product is organized. Orders are then pulled, packed, and shipped out. We pack boxes to ship via UPS, and we stack and wrap pallets to ship LTL. This job requires attention to detail and a strong safety mindset. You must also be able to lift 30 lbs. regularly, and up to 80 lbs. occasionally. The warehouse crew is on their feet most of the day on a concrete floor. Knowledge of shipping software and QuickBooks is a plus. Forklift skills would also be helpful.

Established in 2020 as a pop-up outlet, the location has exceeded expectations. Located in the same building as the original sew shop where the strap cap and other select products have been made since 1993. Anyone smell the bad smell in the air tonight? I live near Wholefoods, and was able to smell it as soon as I stepped outside, and all the way up the hill to the Junction. I didn’t go past there since I didn’t have to but I’m sure it’s in a wide area. Makes me think of something like “Aroma of Tacoma” Smells like it could be some kind of industrial type pollution. Caused a headache and hurt my throat. Hope it goes away soon!
