This is the type of music better reserved for old heads at the casino, not neighborhood block parties. Thanks to whoever booked all these dad rock bands to play everything we’ve heard on boomer rock radio for the last 30 to 50 years — but with no in-ear monitors and off key. Maybe plan something fun for next year and not just cater to drunk dads? It’s all very out of touch. For being in a city known worldwide for grunge music, I’m actually a little shocked you couldn’t find someone to play these cover songs better. It makes me miss the quiet of the pandemic.
