Free Family Event Features Crafts, Games and Children’s Entertainment
WHAT: Westwood Village, a landmark open-air shopping destination on the south end of West Seattle, invites the community to its annual “End of Summer Festival” from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 22nd, held in the Westwood Village parking lot. Families can enjoy crafts, games, face painting, a balloon artist, and music from a live DJ during this free community celebration. This event is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required.

This year promises to be bigger than ever! Join us on Friday August 21st afternoon/evening for some great acoustic talent and outdoor eating/drinking and then all day Saturday August 22nd for dozens of local vendors and 10 great musical acts on our MainStage.
We’ve added a block this year with more food, vendors and activities.
California Ave will be closed down from Admiral Way to College and College will be closed from California Ave to 42nd Ave for an extended place to wander through local vendors, relax at your favorite bar/restaurant in front of our MainStage, chat with the good people at some exceptional West Seattle nonprofits. This year will feature a family/kids area and a wellness area filled with some of the best people in Admiral and West Seattle who are bringing life and goodness to the neighborhood.The fun begins on Friday, August 21st at 3 pm with music and a chance to wander the closed streets. Then on Saturday the 22nd the streets will be filled with vendors, music, food and activities from 10 am-9 pm.
