Traffic update: Crash cleared on eastbound West Seattle Bridge

(Photo by Christopher Boffoli for WSB)
2:58 PM: If you’re heading east on The Bridge from the Fauntleroy end any time soon, heads up – a crash is backing up traffic. One of the cameras is pointed at it as of this writing; the 911 log describes it as parallel with Admiral.

3:51 PM: Crash scene cleared, according to that city webcam pic. Adding an image from WSB’s Christopher Boffoli, taken before it cleared.

Looked like a one car spinout at the eastbound curve. But not sure since I only got a quick look while I was heading westbound.

that concurs with an image Christopher just sent that I’ll be adding, thanks. traffic not too horrible from what he’s seen from a vantage point … TR

I just came across the bridge westbound and the inside lane is closed to traffic. It looks like the EB accident pushed the jersey barriers into the WB left lane.. There was an SDOT truck with flashing lights directly cars to the right.. fyi

Some people don’t know better than to be careful going downhill on that curve when the bridge road is slick from rain.

hey east coast idiot. accidents happen. lets be glad the person involved in the accident is ok. this guy is a friend of mine and thank god he is ok and just the car got damaged. he will learn his lesson from this but you need to shut your mouth and not comment on other people’s misfortunes when you know nothing about the person or the situation that caused this accident. go back to the east coast you yank!!!

Sorry, comment time is over.
