Chief Sealth International High School gets move-in go-ahead

If you’re associated with Chief Sealth International High School in some way, including students’ families, you’ve probably seen or heard a message in the past few days about the renovated campus awaiting Fire Marshal clearance before staff can move in. That clearance has just been achieved, says Sealth principal John Boyd, who tells WSB that teachers and administrators will start moving in tomorrow – exactly 2 weeks before classes begin.

I live within sight of the school and just went by there today. From the outside it doesn’t look like it’s nearly in “move-in” condition. I hope they don’t have to cut any corners to get it finished on time.

I can’t wait for the open house. This makeover’s been a long time coming.

Are they planning on doing tours for the community to get a peak at the remodeled school? Or maybe I missed it…

What the heck is an International High School? Does this mean several countries from around the world are sharing the expenses?

Sorry, comment time is over.
