DECEASED CAT: FYI – May 23, 2023 1:18 am

To try to notify the owners, I am sad to post that about 10:30 pm 5/22/23, a full grown but young looking black cat with greenish eyes, a collar and a tag was hit by a white Tesla on Delridge Way just South of Hudson St.

All I witnessed was the cat running across the road and the car hitting it at about the pelvis. It did not suffer long before it had obviously passed away. A passenger in the Tesla got out to look at it, then the car made a U-turn and quickly went North.

Animal Control was notified.
