West Seattle Runner – Long Term Sales Associate/Asst Mgr – Start ASAP!

West Seattle Runner is looking to add a long term sale associate/assistant manager to our team.
We have grown steadily the last 7+ years, and we need a person we can rely on for the long term. We are a fun, laid back, but faced pace place to work. We are community focused, we love our customers, and we take the time to do things right. We also love our employees, they are part of our family, and we treat them as such. We don’t have a lot of benefits to offer (no medical, no dental), but we do other things to try and make it worthwhile. Free race entries, very generous employee discount, free shoes on occasion, and other little things to make up for the lack of health coverage. We have only had 16 employees in 7+ years, and they tend to stick around for a while. We want our next employee to stick around even longer, and hope to find them very soon!

We are looking for someone who can work between 15 and 40 hours a week, which includes weekends. Saturday and Sunday are 14 hours combined, and if that’s all you want, that is fine by us. But if you want more hours, we can find a schedule that adds more during the week. Pay is negotiable based on experience. We would like someone who wants to work here for the long term, someone who could potentially manage parts of the business and handle the store functions on their own.

All applicants must be runners! 15+ miles a week or collegiate experience prefered. You must be outgoing, talkative, engaging and friendly. Retail experience is a plus, but not mandatory. We will teach you everything you need to know to be successful, as our business depends on it!

Please drop off a resume to the store, which needs to include your weekly mileage, or any other running related experience you would like to add. The right person can start right away, but we will wait as long as we have to until we find the right match.
