    I spotted two chickens on 35th, between Edmunds and Hudson, on the right side of the road if traveling north. I couldn’t stop because my dog was in the car, but it made me nervous to see them on 35th so close to traffic. They were spotted about 40 minutes ago.

    I’ve seen them about 5 times now in that area / parking stip – I think the owners let them out to be free range but it’s only a matter of time before one gets hit.

    I think free range chicken is yummy for dinner…although I don’t particularly like my squished.

    @Valvashon – I did have a good laugh after rereading the title of this post.

    @wsmama3
    – Seriously? That is horrible. They were inches away from the street. Also, a few houses South has a pit bull that often is loose around there. Hopefully the dog doesn’t like chicken.

    I see these girls out frequently and presume by now that they are street savvy. My concern for them is the coyote in that neighborhood.

    Do they resemble the chickens in the Foster Farms commercials? Are they “Plumper’s?”

    With apologies to valvashon, I thought I saw them as well, but they looked more like chicks than chickens.
