There is little they could do about it.
After all.. sporting events keep score so it’s really easy to figure it out when the newscaster only tells you about UWs goals and leaves out the other side’s.

JVMemberJoB, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. I think you may be saying there is no problem with Occupiers just because you don’t want to hurt any feelings. That’s nice of you.
It took over 100 posts, (about 106) but DBP even said that there were issuses that needed to be addressed, etc., etc.
At that point, there were a couple meaningful posts going back and forth between people on the topic, so I would suggest that you read those posts. Read DBP’s posts, not mine, since my words give you an angry reflex, no matter what I say.
Honestly, I don’t care if you change your mind. I’m glad DBP did. I also changed too, and I have more respect for him and where he is coming from. In my opinion he is uniquely qualified to help some of the trouble makers if he wants to. I think DBP would agree that you don’t help by enabling, excusing, ignoring, and explaining away bad behavior. (I don’t claim to speak for DBP, so he can feel free to disagree.)

What is it you’re trying to do here? Do you just want to make some noise? Or are you trying to build something that will bring lasting change? Because if you want change, then you have to make sure people understand what you’re asking for.
But how can they even hear you when you’re shouting at them?

Regardless of how much I disagree with folks on particulars, one thing I know for sure is that we all share the troubles of this world together. And we’re gonna have to get out of them together, too.

JanSParticipantJV, you have a habit of telling people what they really meant, or telling them that they are limited as to what they can post, or misinterpreting what people are saying. I’m sure you’re an extremely nice guy, but, come on. This is a public forum, and people may not post what you want to hear. You can’t control it. And saying things like “proctologist’s view”, etc. get you nowhere. It’s sarcasm, pure and simple, it’s insulting, and I know you’re better than that. Maybe look inward, and see some of your imperfections and clean up your act. Others are willing to do the same, and then get insulted by you anyway. Food for thought.

There are problems with individuals in every organization
That does not mean that those individuals accurately represent the entire organization
Would you like to talk about the “problem” individuals within the local little league organization?

Of all your comparisons, you’ve stooped to trying to equate our local little league organization with the occupiers? Sometimes it’s just best to let the readers decide which argument is sane and which is incoherent.

It’s not a free market when the Fed Reserve debases a currency with over 8 trillion dollars in funny money. When will you get that simple economic principal? Currency manipulation has consequences. When you print too many dollars that are worth less…. producers want more of them to sell any given commodity. That is the definition of monetary induced inflation.
Free market it ain’t … in fact in slow economic times with slack demand… you should have lower prices…. if the free market was allowed to work. Now we have inflation AND not enough jobs or labor demand to raise real wages. That too, would be a free market consequence.
Yes, I can pin that on the Obama administration. To spend what he spends… he has to a) borrow, b) print more money, and in his case .. c) BOTH! Yep … it’s his economic policy… too young I suspect.. but in the Carter years.. it was called stagflation. A stagnant economy with runaway inflation.
The trigger in the Carter years was the rise in oil prices… the trigger in the Obama years… (and Bush) was the rise in the cost of government, Our own government did us more damage than OPEC
This of course would be alien speak to the occupiers… they have a demon out there called the 1%…. that’s all they do know, and all they want to know.

redblackParticipanti don’t think either of you is crazy. i see two people with different opinions on why this country is in the hole that it’s in and the best ways to get us out of it.
but the fact that you seem to crave a pissing match about sanity is informative.
