I wanted to write a RAVE about my neighbors around 61st Ave & Spokane St.
I was on a bike ride and came home to find that our little puppy, Dash, was missing. He must have crawled under the fence after I left and he had just gotten a bath so had no collar on. My stomach hit the ground and I ran outside to find him. My first neighbor Ivan said a woman had found him and was holding him but wasn’t sure where she lived. He graciously walked door to door with me keeping calm and helping me ring doorbells.
We went two blocks together to find the woman before we split ways and he went to go check the WSB as he had mentioned to the woman to post on here.
I continued to walk around to 62nd Ave calling Dash’s name… and Maria a door-to-door signature collector told me she had met a man who told her he knows where our dog was. We reached Leo’s door and he walked us down to Denise’s house where she told us she had taken him to Lien Animal
Hospital. We jumped in the car and exhaled only when Dashy jumped into our arms at Lien. Thank you to everyone who helped find him and take such
good care of him!!!! The people that helped are the most kind people I have the pleasure to meet and I owe Dash’s life to them… I am in awe of
Alki.
I tried to remember all the names, but if I didn’t get them right I apologize!
