shed22ParticipantHelp! Yes? Rats have eaten through the wires. No lights in the bedroom. Truly. Can anyone help? This is no joke. The nasty neighbor next door have driven their rodents in to my home. Now . . . no heat. No electricity. Wires down. Please! Got rid of the rats. Now need some wires re-worked. PLEASE? If you know of a kind electrician who will work for ? . . . send my way. Willing to barter, trade. Handsome. Beautiful. AMERICA!

kootchmanMemberredblack…under the table, scale..
December 23, 2011 at 2:52 pm #743576
redblackParticipantunder the table? that’s illegal. pay your taxes. get a receipt and a warranty. handshakes don’t stand up in court.
and remember that you get what you pay for, kootch. i’d hate to think of how an exterminator might botch a job. i suppose he could make it worse.

waynsterParticipantUnder the table kootch if the roof fails and you need to have them fix it good luck on that warranty….good union work never hurt opps I forgot unions don’t work as good as those illegal’s from home depot do for the grand old party members so go cheep…. wonder if those rats were union lol…

DBPMemberI caution you not to proceed with this action until you get some good legal advice.
Have you heard back from the rats’ legal team yet? —Or are they acting as their own attorneys, as one might expect?

JoBParticipantpractical doesn’t seem to be what’s looked for here..
but if you are looking for someone to fix your roof/pipes/wires and are unwilling or unable to afford union rates…
you might go where unemployed roofers/plumbers/electricians can be found and ask around for someone who is willing to negotiate a deal with you
you may or may not know enough to figure out whether the person you employ knows his/her stuff
but if you are willing to take that chance
i am guessing you can find what you want at nickelsville…
redblack is right
you get what you pay for
and guarantees aren’t part of the deal for that price
