You may want to refer to city laws on fireworks before you allow your guests to intermittently shoot them off from your parking lot over a period of three hours. And when a neighbor calls you to ask you to please stop, it might be a better policy to be gracious and apologize instead of trying to pretend you haven’t heard anything and hanging up the phone.

I was wondering who was blowing off fireworks – I’m 2 blocks south of them and it was pretty annoying.

Christopher and Sue, it was almost certainly a rental party at the hall who did that. Please let the Masons know so they won’t rent to them again. I think they would be glad to have that information.
