Something happening? Monday the Real Estate signs were gone, Tuesday afternoon the front door was blocked open (was driving so didn’t stop to check it out).

The new proprietor was taking down the old sign yesterday and said it was okay to talk about the planned opening October 1 of the Copper Coin. 20 taps or something, twobottles, so see ya back in the ole saddle then! He has another restaurant in Ballard but I forgot the name of it.

Oh, this is awesome news! We’ve been missing Porterhouse ever since it closed. If the new place can get the food and service right (something Porterhouse had issues with), it’s gotta be a hit. Personally, 20 taps is all I need—no food necessary!
