My post isn’t necessarily about a theft because the taken item was returned. And we can’t confirm the taking of chicken eggs but a neighbor suggested that I share just to gain some in sight in the neighborhood.

We had a large plastic children’s’ horse in the front yard as garden art. It went missing. It was returned a month ago with a note from “Will” and a reference to the Iliad.

During the summer months, branches have been broken off trees and shrubs along the sidewalk.

We have had a drop in egg production that we attributed to molting, cool weather and young hens. During this week, our coop has been closed and latched twice in the evening. Each time leaving a couple chickens locked out of shelter in the rain.

We are on Hudson east of Jacobson. Has anyone else in this area noticed anything unusual?
