AlkirustParticipantPalin initially was an “Open Book” when she first popped on the VP scene regarding the investigation about Trooper Gate. Now her and all her peeps have clammed up!! TYPICAL REPUBLICAN POLITICS!
And not a word on how her and McCain are going to fix the mess that Bush handed us all! Now that it’s all coming out about the real Sarah Palin, we’re finding out how many bridges she BURNED to get in office! Apparently she is a very hated woman according to her home people in Alaska… (they really know her) – Can you imagine this countries situation, and McCain croaks, and our country has to depend on Palin to fix this mess??!!!!
Wow _ — now THAT is Scary!!!

acemotelParticipantIt’s terrifying.
And also, McCain certainly looked like a doddering idiot this week, did not do himself or his campaign any favors. He’s been on the deregulation bandwagon for decades. It’s hard for him to make a convincing argument that he’s suddenly for regulation (and has been for years, he would have us believe.)
so many lies, it’s pathetic
ps did you see where he tried to blame Obama for the crisis on Wall Street!!!!

slysideMemberDidn’t trust her from the start. She’s a typical Republican – me, me, me… and what about me?
McCain is not fit to be Pres. and Palin is a complete joke….

GenHillOneParticipantslyside – it’s me, me, me … (you forgot) it’s not me, it’s them … (and this) insert sarcastic “fact” … what about me … (and finally) repeat over and over because if it’s said enough times, it might be true, even if I have to talk over everyone else in the room.
Yes, this is a broad brush, but boy is it refreshing when this formula isn’t used; and much more likely any attention will be given to what is being said. Otherwise, yup, complete joke.

TrickParticipantI can see Palin right now sending emails to world leaders through her Yahoo account to circumvent privacy issues.
I can already see her emoticons after every sentence.

GenHillOneParticipantTrick, I admittedly have started to use emoticons a little more frequently here because people tend to get bent out of shape unless you are explicit with your sarcasm…BUT, I believe that if she could, Palin would dot her “i”s with little hearts ;)

TrickParticipantHA GHO!
Don’t forget her using the winking emoticon after saying:
” The difference is Lipstick”
*Gag*

Yes, the next time you email a world leader you should leave out all emoticons and texting abreviations. lol
September 22, 2008 at 2:46 pm #640326
addParticipantAnd I guess she will be in charge of “the email” since McCain doesn’t know how.

JoBParticipantZenguy…
you guys really know how to cramp a girl’s style:(
but since i don’t often email world leaders i guess it will be ok:)

rugsmithMemberHi – would you mind posting topics like this in the Elections forum? I think part of what makes the West Seattle “Recommendations” forum so great is that it isn’t typically cluttered with off-topic posts.
Thanks!
