JoBParticipantkootch..
so are you saying that Ken Star’s non-stop digging into the Clintons looking for anything at all that he could use to prosecute them wasn’t a distraction?
it was all Clinton’s johnson?
really?
because i would like to point out to you that after spending literally millions of the taxpayer’s money.. that was all Star could find.
and this payback scenario you mention over Clarence Thomas. What twaddle.
But Clarence is a really good example of how someone who abuses power once and gets away with it does it again.
No-one has to mention Anita .. whose reputation was trashed by Thomas… these days.
he has created plenty of new power abuse scandals that keep him in the public spotlight.
besides… if this was really all about johnsons…
Why isn’t this all about Cain’s johnson?
shouldn’t you have equal contempt for him?

kootchmanMemberRemember Willy lied..he lied in open court, he lied in a deposition, and Ken Star had evidence of it,,,.and from that point on, what special prosecutor.would have any choice but to turn the spade over and dig deep? ..Willy bought it on himself. .We coicidentally found the mettle of the man. lies when caught, can’t keep a commitment… nice to know about a President. Will scramble to cover his ass regardless… and look what he and his minions did to try and destroy a low level civil servant.. truly a cad. I understand character doesn’t count to much to a lot on the left.. but..for some of us, it does. .I am more than willing to pay for a special prosecutor for both Solyndra and Fast and Furious… DOJ and White House are not forthcoming..it’s OUR business as voters to know…. And no, Clarence Thomas was not found guilty of anything. Only in the minds eye of those exposed over and over again to a liberal media…too bad FOX wasn’t around for a little balance … as the number one rated media outlet. A he said she said… I don’t assume because it was a she it was true. A little payback? Probably. But, well deserved.

cadburyParticipantCome on Kootch. Ken Starr had been at it for years, and millions of YOUR taxpayer dollars, before Clinton lied about Monica.
Also, might be worth noting that Herman Cain lied when his alleged sexual harassment case was brought up, unless you really believe he didn’t recall anything about it. And if thats true he might have a bigger problem than being dishonest.
Of course us democrats don’t care a lick about character, but you guys do! And let’s not get into Newt and his character…
Also, a he said she said i don’t assume because it was a she it was not true either. which clearly you do.

kootchmanMemberUh uh… you got it ass backwards…. he lied about Paula Jones, “lost” the billing records for White Water..and we had a dead White House Aid who worked on White Water. Clinton(s) lied on numerous occassions and certainly weren’t forthcoming. Ken Starr given the less than honest testimony of the Clintons then went digging deeper. Could I tell you every women I ever met? No. And I am certainly not as wide ranging as Herman Cain. The man meets literally hundreds of thousands of people. If he says he doesn’t remember, I can’t challenge that. remember it took evidence to bring Holder back to the hill when he couldn’t remember. Much ado about nothing…. so far. I will hedge my bets.. it’s getting a little hotter.

kootchmanMemberThe proof is in the proof. I haven’t seen any yet. Until I do..all I have is allegations. Remember, she had her hearing, it was found to have no substance and she took the money and went to another employer..and .. another allegation.

cadburyParticipantUm…if I was accused of something, anything really, where my employer actually paid someone off to make it go away…I think i would remember. Especially if i was innocent.
Luckily his memory was jogged…

HMC RichParticipantIrony. Here is a synopsis of the investigation and impeachment process against Bill Clinton. http://www.historyplace.com/unitedstates/impeachments/clinton.htm
A few weeks ago I was listening to some radio personalities talk about that time. Interestingly enough, they said the Republicans wanted to damage Clinton but would not let him get impeached. His popularity was very high and people wanted that to end.
The hosts also said that, and I have to agree with the conjecture, that if Clinton had resigned like Livingstone had, then Al Gore would have been President. Since the economy was in relatively good shape (dot.com busts were nothing compared to current economy) they felt Al Gore would have beaten George Bush and the Democrats would have stayed in power in the White House. Instead, W was elected.
Oh the power of unintended consequences. Wow, Clinton gets pleasured and the voters who elect Democrats also got screwed. Irony.
By the way, I barely remember Thomas/Hill but I do know that the liberal media went on full attack on Linda Tripp.
Yes Virginia, the media leans left no matter how much they deny it.
In posts in the past I gave facts on the bent of the beltway media. Also, I wanted to find out across the nation if there was a bias in the media. What I found was that Large cities media was usually more liberal and smaller cities and rural areas were more conservative. Imagine that!

HMC RichParticipantHere is what Ed Schultz says. http://www.theatlanticwire.com/business/2011/11/ed-schultz-what-i-read/44983/
Funny enough, I believe every single word.

JoBParticipantkootch…
Ken Starr couldn’t find enough evidence to even stage a prosecution for any of your allegations…
yet you repeat them as though they were fact.
get a grip dude…
that old adage about where there is smoke there is fire…
probably true..
but sometimes you have to look closely to find the source of the fire.

JoBParticipantHMCRich…
now there is a rationalization if i ever saw one.
The first Bush presidency had nothing to do with a politically based supreme court ruling and everything to do with Clinton.
I’d sell you something myself,
but sadly I am too busy trying to find solutions to real world problems to manufacture that much hot air.
